So first, we got offered a room at the Forge with a friendly lady at reception who really knew how to make your experience stand out. They stocked so many snacks in the room—tea, coffee, biscuits—it felt like staying with relatives who just wanted to pamper you a bit.
It wasn’t exactly a bargain, but still reasonable.

Conveniently located, it provided a clean and tidy room stocked with plenty of tea, coffee, and fresh milk. The friendly reception staff made check-in easy, even late at night. the bed was somewhat lumpy, which made for a less restful night after a long flight, and the distance from the airport was a bit more than I anticipated. Still, I would return for its helpful service and pleasant atmosphere.

It wasn’t exactly budget-friendly but still fair for what we got

Got to say we were really pleased with our stay the staff were super friendly especially the lady at check-in who just seemed to get us you know offered us a room at the Forge even when we thought we’d be stuck with the other place and the room was comfy and had everything tea coffee biscuits even milk in the fridge which is a small touch but it made us feel so welcome
It wasn’t exactly inexpensive but you know what it was still worthy of the price we paid

We had an awesome time staying with our friends. Exploring the local area was a blast! We checked out a fantastic Italian restaurant and caught a show at the theatre nearby. The farmhouse was cozy, and the staff was friendly. Definitely a place to consider for group trips!
One downside was that the Wi-Fi was a bit spotty, which made planning our outings tricky at times.

A Mixed Experience with Potential
We appreciated the quaint charm during our one-night stay. The staff was friendly, even amidst challenges. For future guests, I recommend checking room amenities in advance since ours had some issues. close locations offer a variety of dining options for a pleasant meal nearby.

Staying here with my family and pets was a delight! We loved the relaxing countryside views and enjoyed strolling through the local area, which had a variety of quaint eateries to explore together.
In my wife’s opinion, the place could use a bigger play area for the kids.

Perfect stopover for travelers!
We lucked out getting moved to the Forge, just 10 mins from the airport! The beds were super comfy and the room was stocked with all the tea and biscuits we could want. Breakfast was a treat too! Only thing is it’s a bit far to walk if you’re in a rush. Definitely recommend it for a quick airport stop!

The countryside views around the property offer a nice touch, adding a bit of charm to the overall stay. There’s a decent variety of tea, coffee, and even some snacks, which adds a friendly, homey vibe to the experience.
Getting to the property was a hassle with the taxi dropping me off at a house that didn’t even look like a hotel. it took a bit of wandering to figure where to collect the keys. The lack of adequate breakfast options, just a couple of small cereal boxes and a carton of milk, felt pretty uninspiring for a bed and breakfast. the thin walls made it impossible to avoid every sound, from the planes overhead to the next door's toilet flushing—definitely not ideal for a good night's sleep.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
